![]() I was content to stay with my last fixed license version of Acronis because I only use the USB recovery media to back up and restore my system offline (live backups are seen by Windows as "crashed" when restored, and getting past the error and recovery messages is tedious, let alone boot time is fast and unambiguous when it comes to databases, etc). I am just looking for a legal option to acquire some additional licenses for this (or an newer revision equivalent) product.ĭoes Acronis sell such a product, or do I need to go elsewhere? In fact, over the past decade or so, I have owned licenses for several versions of TrueImage. I have a perpetual license for Acronis TrueImage 2020 that works fine for this purpose. I am only interested in a perpetual license. I do not want to pay a monthly or annual subscription fee. I do not need or want any other security or system utilities. ![]() I want to be able to backup to a local NAS server (TrueNAS Scale, via SMB) and to external USB 3.x HDD's. I am looking for a backup solution that runs in Windows (10 or 11) and can perform disk and partition image backups (EFI, NTFS and EXT4) the former to quickly recover from a physical drive failure and the latter from an OS/filesystem level error. I've got 2 home PC's that dual boot Windows 10 Pro 64-bit and Linux (Ubuntu or Kali), one that is only Windows 10 Pro, and one that is Windows 11 Pro.
